Extension to an existing nine story residential block to form additional three floors including four penthouse high end residential units with associated roof terraces and balconies with a GDV in excess of £20m. Existing facade to be re-clad throughout in insulated render and brick slip application , new windows fitted to all existing flats including new balconies. Extend and replacement of two existing passenger lifts.
Extensive work was carried out whilst the building remained live and fully occupied by 46 existing flat owners.
This included structural works to the existing internal frame and external facade of the building

Standard House/Riverview Godalming, Surrey

Conversion and extension including additional two floors on top of existing office buildings into 96 two bedroom apartments in prime London commuter belt. High end finishes and innovative design requirements. New build apartments, complete services and infrastructure installation to previous commercial site and all external works including access ways, landscaping and construction of new sub station.

Sunnyhill Hemel Hempstead

Construction of 21 Residential units, including 15no., executive homes and 6 no. apartments. Traditional build dwellings constructed of varying render and facing brick facades with interlocking slate roof covering built on a 1:4 gradient site, the infrastructure works included Thames Water sewer diversion, and heated tarmac access road.

Manor Gate Northolt, Middlesex

Demolition of existing commercial building , design development and construction of seven new residential properties. Traditional build dwellings constructed of facing brick facades with interlocking slate roof and zinc covering with challenging external works including retaining wall structures etc Constructed in a built up residential area with access challenges and significant local liaison.

Bricket Wood, Herts – Specialist Housing

MP Building Limited has successfully completed a bespoke Design and Build scheme in Bricket Wood, Hertfordshire, for leading housing provider Dimensions UK.

The development comprises six bungalows and four flats, purpose-designed to meet the specific needs of end users requiring secure and supported accommodation. MP Building took the project forward from RIBA Stage 3, including the full discharge of extensive planning conditions.

The scheme included advanced internal and external security and access control systems tailored to individual users. On-site challenges such as contaminated land and off-site drainage upgrades were effectively managed, ensuring compliance and longevity.

A comprehensive sustainability package included full PV solar network installation and air source heat pump systems across the site.

This project continues MP Building Limiteds strong working relationship with interdisciplinary consultancy Kendal Kingscott.

Fourfields, Cheshunt

Construction of 15 residential units, 4 affordable rent and 2 part ownership for Hightown Housing Association, with remaining for private sale. Traditional build dwellings constructed of varying external treatments with latest ASHP technology. Challenging site included demolition of existing building, contaminated land, part piled foundation solution set within restricted residential infill site, with extensive off-site S278 works.
